It is narrated from Imam Sajjad (AS) who said:

Asking people for help (frequently) will cause indignity in life, as well as destroying modesty, and reducing nobility, and it is the present poverty and neediness. On the other hand, asking people for help less frequently is independence and present affluence [1].
